Every Smile Starts With an Initial Consultation!
During your initial consultation, you will have the opportunity to meet our team, learn more about orthodontic treatment and find out which treatment options are right for you. We will provide you with a complete exam, during which we will:
• Review your dental and medical history forms
• Provide a complete oral exam, with X-rays, to determine whether treatment is necessary
• Help you create a customized treatment plan
• Discuss all financial information, insurance options and payment plans
Our orthodontist and team are happy to answer any questions that you may have. We will take the time to address your questions and concerns and will provide you with all the information you need to make decisions about your treatment and find the type of treatment that is right for you.
What Happens After the Initial Consultation?
When you complete your initial consultation, you will be one step closer to achieving your dream smile! After your consultation, our team will help you schedule your first appointment, and Dr. Siomka will place your new orthodontic appliance so that you can begin your treatment. This appointment typically takes about an hour, and our team will be on hand the entire time to make sure that you are as comfortable as possible.
Scheduling Appointments
You will visit our office regularly throughout your treatment so that our orthodontist and team can monitor the progress of your smile. Depending on your treatment plan, these appointments will occur about every four to eight weeks. We will work with you to make scheduling your appointments as easy and convenient as possible. Please let us know what days and times work best for you so that we can work with your schedule.
We also understand that sometimes “life happens.” If you are running late or need to reschedule, please let us know as soon as you can. We will do everything we can to accommodate you.
Visiting the Dentist During Orthodontic Treatment
Visiting your regular dentist every six months is more important than ever during orthodontic treatment. Routine dental cleanings and checkups are an important part of maintaining good oral health, and if you are receiving orthodontic treatment, additional care may be needed to make sure that your teeth and mouth remain free from dental problems. Our orthodontist and team are happy to coordinate with your general dentist to make sure you are receiving the care you need.
